Ayurooms was founded by Alykhan Alidina and Anusha Sachdeva out of a shared love for India, a passion for travel, and an abiding respect for Ayurveda which helped them to overcome back pain and transform their approach to self-care and well-being.
Alykhan Alidina was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree from the Ivey Business School and an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium. With over 20 years of diverse experience spanning community development, healthcare, education, real estate, mediation, and integrative medicine, Alykhan is driven to improve quality of life across fields. He divides his time between Vancouver and India and co-founded Ayurooms with his partner, Anusha Sachdeva, in 2016.

Anusha Sachdeva was born and raised in Mumbai. A certified yoga instructor, pranic healer, marma therapist, access bars therapist, and Ayurvedic chef & nutritionist, she holds a BA in Business and Marketing from De Montfort University, UK and a diploma in Event Management from EDMI, Mumbai. Anusha has worked as Zumba International’s Community Representative for South Asia and has consulted for numerous corporates in Mumbai. She travels extensively across India to critically review health and wellness resorts.
As Engagement Manager, Tarundeep Kaur (Daisy) focuses on growing the Ayurooms community online and nurturing relationships through social media. She is passionate about supporting sustainable and healthy living, and she brings expertise in developing marketing strategy, expanding communities, and creating valuable collaborations for startups and wellness ventures.
As HR Manager at Ayurooms, Tanya Goyal brings a master’s degree in Human Resources and valuable experience from her work in startups. She is committed to building a positive company culture, driving employee engagement, and managing all core HR operations. Tanya’s love for travel and new cultures informs her open-minded and empathetic approach to people and teamwork.
Raised in Delhi, Komal Singh blends a degree in marketing with deep experience in digital strategy and brand engagement. She is recognized for her aesthetic sense and thorough research, and she thrives on building creative, high-impact campaigns. At Ayurooms, Komal helps shape the brand’s digital voice, consistently engaging new audiences through innovative projects.
Originally from Girvan, Scotland, Kieran Shannon trained as a contemporary dancer and performed worldwide with leading companies. He and his partner, Silke Muys, traveled across the globe, funding their adventure through music, photography, and videography. After discovering Ayurooms while seeking panchakarma in Kerala, Kieran joined the team to capture and share the stories of Ayurveda resorts through film and photography.
Silke Muys, from Ghent, Belgium, began her global journey at age 19 in Mexico as a dance student. Alongside her dance career, Silke developed skills in photography, videography, yoga, and music. After a 21-day panchakarma with Ayurooms in Kerala, she joined forces with Kieran Shannon to document the best wellness resorts for Ayurooms, combining her creative passions with her love for travel and holistic well-being.

Charu C is a filmmaker and editor who believes in the power of authentic storytelling. Known for her creative approach and focus on the human element, she helps brands connect meaningfully with their audience. Since 2019, Charu has collaborated with Ayurooms to create films that reflect trust, compassion, and the impact of true wellness.
